Returns & Exchanges

EXCHANGES

If you decide to exchange any of the items that you've purchased, you must pay the postage costs to ship the item(s) back. The cost of shipping the replacement item(s) back to you is FREE for the first exchange.  Additional exchanges may be subject to standard UPS ground shipping charges. Orders will be mailed from our store will be shipped  by Standard UPS Ground.  Alternative shipping may be available for additional charges.

RETURNS

You have 60 days from date of delivery to make a decision whether to keep the product or to return it.  We must receive the product back no longer than 75 days from your receipt of your order in order for you to receive a full refund.   Products returned beyond 75 days are subject to a 10% re-stocking fee (10% off the original retail price) and may be refunded at the current in-store selling price if item has been marked down.  Product returned beyond 120 days will be returned to you.  The item(s) must be in like new condition and returned in the manner described above  in order to receive a full refund. Item(s) returned not in like new condition may be returned to you.  Item(s) must be returned to us in the original shipping box.  Damaged product boxes due to purchases being returned outside of the original shipping box are subject to a 10% re-boxing fee (10% off of the original retail price).  You are responsible for postage costs to ship the item(s) back to us.

You will receive credit on your account within one week from the date we receive your return if the conditions above are met.  Any returns received by When The Shoe Fits beyond 75 days of your receipt of the order may take longer than one week for review and determination of credit amounts if applicable.  It is our policy to refund the cost of the merchandise only, shipping charges are not refundable. Please save your tracking number for proof of delivery.

If your order was shipped directly to you from the manufacturer, you will not receive a separate invoice. If you have any questions or comments, please contact us at sales@whentheshoefits.com.

Shipping & Handling

When The Shoe Fits offers free shipping on all orders over $100 on UPS ground  for residents of the Lower 48 States.  Additional shipping methods or expedited shipping may be available for additional charges.  When we ship your shoes you will receive a tracking number for your order.  
**For Next Day, Second Day, or Third Day shipping, these orders will be processed on the next business day if merchandise is available in store. All orders are subject to availability.  

Sales Tax

Orders shipped within the state of Washington will be charged sales tax.
 

Our Privacy Statement

We neither sell nor share your information with outside companies or third parties.

When you purchase from our online store, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. You provide this information so we can process and ship your order. We respect your privacy by not selling or sharing this information.

We encourage you to sign-up for our e-mailing list. These letters provide you with advanced notice of store sales, new merchandise, and other store-related events. But, of course, you have the freedom to add or remove your name from our list at any time.

Online Security

Your credit card is completely safe.

Protecting your information is our highest priority. We have developed several safeguards to keep your information completely confidential. To proceed to checkout, you must enter your e-mail address and create a password. The checkout process itself employs Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)* technology to insure your safety.

*Secure Sockets Layer encrypts your order information and sends it to a secure server, making it impossible for that information to be decoded by a party outside of the store you shop with.

Furthermore, only our store will have your information; other members of the Modern Retail community will not have access to your information unless you decide to shop with them.

To check the security of your connection during checkout, look for the unbroken key or closed lock at the bottom of your browser window. This indicates SSL is active.

Shopping Online

To add an item to your bag, simply click the add to bag button next to it. (Items you put in your bag will not be bought by you until you have completed the checkout process.)

To remove an item from your bag, simply click the remove link next to the item you wish to discard.

To view what is in your bag at any time, click the "shoppingBag" link in the page header.

To purchase what you've selected, click on your shoppingBag and click "checkout". Follow the three simple steps to purchase your items.

Once we have confirmed your order, an account for you is automatically established for the Modern Retail community of stores.

To access your account in the future, click the "myAccount" button in the header of any page and enter the e-mail address and password you created at checkout.  (If you have not been through checkout, but would like to create an account, simply click on my account and follow the steps to create a new account.)
